Modern Basement Remodel:
We took an unfinished basement in a newly built home and transformed it into a modern yet comfortable, inviting and vibrant living room, bar, home gym, and bathroom. The design approach was to unify the basement level with the rest of the home above thus giving the client a new entertainment space for family gatherings. The custom designed entertainment wall is comprised of a framed TV niche, open display and storage space, a linear fire feature, and integrated concealed LED ambient lighting. An interesting back bar top floats between two columns behind the sofa while the bathroom takes on the feel of a small yet luxurious modern spa. Custom millwork, creative combinations of various materials, and unique details highlight the space which takes on a modern character of its own.
